We Will Be Used!!!

Oh Jesus Jesus Jesus how so very happy I am to be apart of this sign team! Sunday 6-26-11 was a very special night for me anyways. I had been told by another member that she believed that I was going to be used without a doubt in her mind for God. Well Sunday night I finally realized that it was true!

Sunday night, was an explosion that I am so glad I was there for! We started service as usual, welcome guests, few words, Bible reading etc. then song service came. Once we started singing everyone started heading down front towards the alter. I could tell something was about to happen. I could feel it, I kept waiting and waiting and waiting yet nothing BIG happened, yet. But I didn't loose hope, I could still feel it. As Bro. Nathan came forward to start preaching I was ready for what he had. With what I felt I was on the edge of my seat. As he winds up the preaching he didnt slow down in his voice like usual. He told the musicians to come to the platform. When they did I noticed that they started some fast music, I could tell what was about to happen. By that point my shoes were off and everyone was headed back down front. After praying with another friend all the way down front for about 10 min. I turned around and saw a fellow team member and something just told me to go back there. So while still speaking in tongues, I made my way through all of the shouting young ladies. Once I got back there I realized who they were praying for, Miss Paula Brackenridge. I had been told just the day before that she was going through some stuff and to be prayin for her. Along with Elizabeth Kane, was Kaitlyn Morgan and Ashley Ezell praying with her. She was bent over crying and praying in the Holy Ghost. Well, Paula was already surrounded on the sides and I couldnt get behind her so I just did what I felt and grabbed her shoulders and bent my head down to be even with her. When I did I dont know what happened but I couldnt talk normal for about 15 min. I was already speaking in tongues but when I layed my hands on her and started praying, something just came over me and I couldnt stop even if I tried. With both of us almost falling down, I just couldnt hold on anymore. Ashley had to catch me and lay me down on a pew beside her. Well, needless to say I didnt stay there very long. I got back up and went right back to where I was. I layed my hands on her and didnt stop. While we were praying Kaitlyn put her hands on Paula's head and started praying some more. By that point we all wound up sitting on the floor. And I thank God for it!! Never have I prayed for someone and wound up layed out. Finally about 15 min. later we start coming back to where we were. We had a total of two layed out while praying for Paula, Kaitlyn and myself. Later that night, I got a message from Kaitlyn that finally made it sink in completely that God was going to use me and that I was a chosen vessel. While reading that tears came to my eyes and had flashbacks the entire night to that moment while praying for her. Paula also told me that I helped her through whatever she was going through well that just made me tear up even more.

Long story short..... we WILL BE USED by God weather the Devil likes it or not! He cant stop us now. Were on warpath and he will NOT win. This sign team is something God had planned for us, and to be used. Not to be made then destroyed.

* Paula, I dont know what you were going through, but my dear its over with! God has it dealt with. If it may not look like it right now, its all clear. Just remember the Devil will try to attack people who are deep in love with God and the church and His truth. The Devil sees you as a threat and he doesnt like it. Well then you know what, just keep doin what your doin! Whatever problems or trials you have in your life, give it to God and He will bring you peace in the midst of the storm. THE DEVIL IS A LIAR!!! He has nothing on you. He may have Hell and all of Hell's angles, but YOU have the Holy Ghost living inside of you and the Bible with His word, sharper than a two edged sword is your weapon. No match against you and Hell can stand.

Love you Paula!!
*and a BIG thank you to Kaitlyn for helping me finally get it deep down in me that i will be used :) and thank you for helping me pray for her:) love you Kaitlyn!

Steadfast,Walk by Faith, and Wait!!!

Through your life, you may come into situations where you don't know what to do but to pray. Well, my friend that is all you NEED to do! God has it in control!

This past Sunday night service at church ( 6/5/2011 ) everything was going great. Singing, praying,Bible verse (which they would preach from) etc. As we were called up for choir we all went. As we started singing I looked out and saw everybody start flooding the alter. Yes hands lifted, crying, but not the sad way. I could tell something was about to happen. I looked over at the girls side and i don't know how but i found Kaitlyn as soon as I looked over there. She was praying and I felt like I needed to be down there with her. So our song ended.... but God wasn't. As the choir headed back down, with everyone still praying, the praise singers started singing " Jesus Said It!" And thank you Jesus they did! I made my way over to a fellow member Elizabeth and friend Paula. Paula was already hunched over crying. As she stood we started shouting and here comes miss Kaitlyn Morgan she joined up with Elizabeth and Paula and it was like a little electric chain. When she joined up with us, I couldn't help but cry. I looked over at Kaitlyn and she was speaking in tongues, and crying. Just about falling over, slightly leaned forward. I was praying with Elizabeth, but something told me to go and grab onto her. So I let go off Elizabeth and went and stood in front of Kaitlyn and grabbed her shoulders well that didn't last long before I finally just grabbed her hand. After that everything just let go! After already crying I just started balling, with my mouth moving at about 100 miles per hour and no reason to stop speaking in tongues, I just let God move and use me. THANK YOU JESUS!! After Paula, Elizabeth, and I praying with Kaitlyn for about 45 min. we had all received a renewing in the Holy Ghost, and received a GREAT blessing. But the night was far from being over. Still crying and speaking in tongues we all just stood there with her for about another 5-10 min. Then we finally gathered ourselves. We all gave her a hug and just let her know that we loved her. Later that night I sent Kaitlyn about a two page text, telling her that I don't know what she is going through, but God has it in control! She had told me that she had heard that a few times about this and she said that this must be a confirmation. I just told her she doesn't have to worry anymore, God said it was ALL in control of Him. She told me that next day, thank you for letting God use you last night and that when comes to pass to be ready to run the isles with her. Well that just made me smile :)

If there is any problem, situation, trouble, etc. that you go through, give it to God and you will receive!!

Love you Kaitlyn!!

Let Him...

Things with sign team have been going great. I can honestly say that these souls that God has placed within my ministry are some of the most precious souls I could ever have the privilege to know. We have been becoming closer with each practice and with each service. I have found friends with my team members, but I have also found something so much more than that as well. I have gained family members. Brothers and sisters that I find myself thanking God for; and with that, I say this to each member as we look out onto the horizon of Summer and to all the sweet blessings that God has in store for us...

Kayla,

Your beautiful and amazingly talented when it comes to the sign team. I am so proud of how you let the lord use you and how you don't back down from the Devil when he tries to discourage you. You have a spirit in you that I don't see often. but when I do, I know that God is going to use that soul for great things. You remind me so much of myself, that I often wonder if you have been placed on this team for a specific reason due to that. If so, remain steadfast in your walk with God. Never give in to what the devil tells you or tries to throw your way. Your trials and tribulations will only make you stronger. Never stop praying and never stop believing in what YOU believe in. Don't stop hoping, don't stop dreaming and don't stop moving forward. God has great things in store for you, but he has to mold you first. Within that process comes hurt and disappointments. As harsh and cruel as that may seem now, you will look back, smile and say "Thank you God for taking me through all that." I promise you will say it! I pray it all the time. Without all the trials that I went through, I wouldn't be the woman I am today. The most beautiful pieces of stained glass have to be melted and molded in hot fire before they come out looking like they do and ultimately having the sun shine through them. Embrace all that comes your way, good and bad. For when you do, you yourself will come out melted down and molded with the SON shinning through you! Keep that beautiful smile on your face, that chin up, and yours eyes toward Heaven. The Lord is your Shepard...

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever. -Psalms 23

Matthew,

All I can say is...GO YOU! I was so proud of you after our Easter service that I just couldn't contain it! You not only faced your nervousness but you let God shine through you! You will be a role model to someone, if your not already. Your Godly attitude and sweet spirit will be your biggest gift that God will AMPLIFY! Never let peer pressure make you feel like you must be less than what you are! God has things in store for you that you can not even fathom. You will be blown away by what God will do for you! Just stay on the path that your on and watch what God is going to do! I believe in my heart that devil makes you nervous when you sign because he see's what God wants to use you for. Just breath in and whisper "Devil, get behind me...cause you may not want to see what I"M about to do!" and just let the Holy Ghost move through you! Despite what you may think, you will have a solo part. Not because I want you to feel included, but because I know if you do...God's mighty spirit will come down! Just trust what your heart is telling you Matthew...it will never steer you wrong!

O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. Psalms 34:8

Elizabeth,
Girl, I love you like crazy! You bring the whole "family" together.Your sweet heart and sweet spirit is just what all of us need when we maybe having a bad day! Your sincere worship and praise is what makes me so glad to have you on the team. I see that God is your number one and because of that he will bless you abundantly within this ministry! You are a willing vessel that I believe God will use for his glory! When the storms come rolling in your direction, never fear cause God will always be with you. I see in you a maturity that most girls your age don't have yet. Your my dear, are a young women that will blossom into a mighty woman of God. Keep that spirit of yours yielding to Him and He will guide you down paths you've never imagined. You are not only a beautiful young lady, but a beautiful soul as well! I am so utterly happy that you have landed on my team. I believe that it was not by chance, but by God's doing. He has blessings galore ready for you! Just reach out and grab them!

For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield. Psalms 5:12

Daniel,

I couldn't help but keep big brother last...I also had the most to say to you anyway. Don't worry though, it's all good!

Well, where do I start? You were on this bandwagon from the get-go and I thank you for that. You stuck with it, even when it looked like it might not even happen. I believe "thanks"  for some prayers that went up are in order here! Without some encouraging words from you and my parents, I doubt I would have gotten the nerve to go talk to Pastor. I am glad I did, so I thank you for being one of the fans cheering me on! With that being said, you are a great blessing to the team. Just like the rest of the members, you bring special somethings to the team that gives us a drive to keep on when we all may feel like giving up. Of course one of those somethings would be your high end energy! Your crazy personalty and ADD makes practice less daunting at the end of a long work/school day and more enjoyable. I'm not sure what we would do if we had a calm Daniel on the team, so never change who you are or be anything less that what we have all come to know. It just wouldn't be right if you did. Your energy and zeal for life are not the only things that I see will benefit the team. Your passion for the things of God and your passion to see souls saved will not only amp up our praise, but will amp us up to not just give 100% but to give 110%. Without that link in the team, our circle would be incomplete. Despite what you may think, there are many who envy you and there are many you look up to you. When those who come against you, bring you down, they only do it out of sheer spite because they can not be you. When everything around you begins to pop and you wonder what on earth it is you did for it to happen...remember that what you did do, was something RIGHT! The Devil comes at you the hardest when you're doing everything right. People will be your biggest enemy when it comes to protecting your spiritual possessions; but just remember that God will be there binding you up in his wings. Guarding you and keeping you if you let him. I see a mighty calling on your life beyond the sign team. Never run away from it, but instead run as fast as you can to it. When you do, every thing will fall into place for you and you will see great things happen before you. I pray that God will use you not only in the Sign Team ministry, but in a ministry that will mold you into a Daniel ten times more zealous and anointed than you are now. Let go and let God...

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11

"My life is not my own...to YOU I belong...."

Have you ever felt like when everything was going wrong, nothing would go right? Yeah, I felt like that after Easter Sunday when the Devil began throwing all that he could at me and everyone else on the team. I was feeling so overwhelmed that I wondered what God had in store for us. As things began slowing down and becoming calmer, I still had this feeling that the Devil was not done yet. Boy, was I right...but God once again showed up on the scene.

This past Tuesday night Raul Alvear Jr. came to preach at my church. He began preaching and the spirit started to move. At one point during the sermon, some of the men took off running and then some of our Women. Bro. Alvear Jr. asked if he could get 6 more to run the aisles when I took off running. As I did, the spirit breached my team members and sat the stage for the rest of the night. I received my blessing while praying for a friend and Kyla. Daniel got his while praying for Matthew as he was getting his blessing. Meanwhile, Elizabeth was praying with me and Kyla towards the end of service and then got her blessing. I was so proud of my team for pressing in that night!

We all left that night a feeling that God was about to do something BIG! The week brought a busy work schedule and a little stress here n' there but I was looking ahead to our next practice with much excitement! We gathered as we always do and went over our new song a couple of times and talked over some things dealing with our practice. As we closed, we came together in prayer and I noted a heaviness had settled in the room. I could feel that the devil was there with us, trying to keep us from breaking through and touching God. We began rebuking him and praying as hard as we could without stopping. At one point God told me to lay my hand on the top of Kayla's head. As I did so, she hunched over crying and fell to the floor. We gathered around her and started praying with her. I could feel chains being loosen and the devil letting go. We prayed for sometime before we all become quiet. I was prompted by the spirit to start singing "I give myself away". Much to my dismay, I had to sing it! I was so scared to open my mouth because of my fear of singing in front of others. Once I did though, peace came over us like a blanket. I believe more than just Kayla got a touch from God in that after practice prayer. I believe all of us are about to have our lives change in un-believable ways!

" ..... Who Was and is and is To Come .... "

Thank you Jesus, thank you Jesus, thank you Jesus is all I can say!! our first performance was Easter night 4-24-11. Practice after practice after practice we just kept getting better and better. and God kept getting the Glory!!

As the day rolled around it seemed as though the day flew by to that night. We all met up at 6:00 that night in the church and practiced just one more time and made some final changes. With the  prayer right before we went on I  could tell something was going to happen. I could feel it all over and I was ready for it. So we conclude with our practice with about maybe 15-20 min. to gather our selves together and wait for our big debut. Finally our time comes. We enter onto the platform and the music begins. All ready I could feel something. I tried to hold back as much as I could but the first verse and my mouth is already quivering up and down as if it was on vibrate. Talking in tongues, I just simply cant hold any more. I look over and I see Kaitlyn with her arms threw back behind her and I can hear her over the music then just drops to her knees. I just gave up then and there. I hunch over and just ball my eyes out. Kaitlyn comes over and grabs my hand and helps me pray. After we got finished praying ( including the whole church ) she has to help me walk off the platform and down the steps to exit without me falling over because of me being so lost in the Holy Ghost to the point of me almost passing out!! But in a very very good way.

As we conclude God moved through out that whole performance literally from when we started the music to when we stopped. Thank you God!!! If that happened on a slow song...... God help us when we sign a fast song. But ready or not here we come!! And God is right along with us so buckle up and get ready for the ride cause we are on our way!!!

"Holy, Holy, Holy...is the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY!"

When God gave me the direction to be a sign team leader, I never really could fathom how on Earth...or even why He would pick me to lead something so very important. There were times when my dream to have my own sign team looked as if it would never happen. There were times when I would get frustrated because the devil was fighting us so hard. He put up a good fight all the way till the time of us to preform, but we stood our ground, and God took care of us!

Sunday afternoon I began to grow very nervous like I usually do before I sign. I had ran through the song and my parts a few times to make sure I was comfortable. I also gave myself many little pep talks about how the team was ready to this. As it came closer to the time for all of us to meet up and go through the song one more time, my nervousness became even worse. I began to get a bad pain in my leg, which was something I had never had happen before. I knew it was the devil and that I would just have to press through it! We all meet up at 6pm and went to a room to practice the song and pray. While we were praying, the Holy Ghost moved and I could feel the presence of God descend down on us. We made our to the sanctuary and made our way up to the platform to wait until it was time to go on. As we waited you could feel a battle of spirits waring around us. The Holy ghost was laying over us so heavy it was like shield. I had asked the Lord to surround us and protects from what the devil was trying was to do and I believe He did! I though, was still feeling so nervous and the weight of it was becoming worse. I was afraid that I wasn't going to be able to move from my spot. As we were sitting on the platform, a wave of peace suddenly fell over me and I felt much lighter and free. What I did not know, was that multiple people had it laid on them to pray that my nervousness would be removed! God knows just what to do and when to do it!

When the time came to go on, I knew God was getting ready to do something AMAZING for I had already almost broke down numerous time during the service. I placed my team members in their spots and turned to them to indicate that we needed to bless the Lord before we began. As I turned around, I felt the anointing hit me as soon as my ears heard the music. I wasn't even sure I would even be able to sign the very first verse! I was able to half way complete it before the Holy Ghost moved on me! As the spirit began moving, I could feel my team come together as one body. I could see some of us speaking in tongues and crying. God guided my hands that night because I have never been able to be lost in the Holy Ghost and still able to sign! It was the most AWESOME experience! When the song came towards the end, I knew we wouldn't be able to make it towards the end... I felt myself fall to my knees in praise to God as the spirit pressed on us even more! As stood up, Kayla was hunched over crying and I went to her. She was lost in the Holy Ghost and had to be helped off the platform and down the stairs as we exited!

After service was when the reality of what God had done hit us. I was so utterly shocked at the blessings that those who were there received while we signed. The one prayer I prayed at every practice was that God would shine His light through us and that He would become our hands. That He would use us as His vessels. God did something that I never expected in that Easter service, but I truly believe that it's just a sample of the amazing things that's going to come! USE US LORD....We give ourselves to you!!!

~Side Note~ Kayla, Daniel, Elizabeth, and Matthew I want to personally say "thank you" for all of the hard work and effort you guys put into this! Without you guy's dedication and love for God, it wouldn't have been made possible. You all are wonderful gems that I thank God for giving me the chance to know. I am so happy to be able to do this with you guys! Keep up the work for God and He will bless all of you immensely!

Love each of you very much!!!

"The gates of Hell....WILL NOT prevail!"

As practice wound down Thursday night of the 14th, we joined together as a group like we do before and after every practice. As we joined together to give thanks to the Lord for the practice, the spirit of God came down and we had a wonderful prayer meeting, yet again. As the group prayer started dying down, I urged the group to personally pray themselves and entertain the sweet spirit that came into our practice. During this time, I was praying by myself when the Lord spoke to me and told me that the group needed to join together and pray for Kayla. As we did so, the spirit began moving and unexpectedly the lights went out and the room was suddenly pitch black. No one was near the light switches that were located near the doors, nor was it storming outside and nobody came in to turn them off. As we stood there in the darkness, the feeling in the room changed and we knew that this happing was not a good thing! I could feel fear rise up in Kayla and the Holy Ghost prompted me to take her hand. As I did, peace descended into the room and the Holy Ghost moved among all of us. As we we were all praying for Kayla still, the lights came back on and I was given a vision. I seen Demons all around us in a circle. Angry, upset and full of hate, they wanted to attack us BUT glory be to GOD there were Angels blocking their way! They were standing at full height, wings connected with one another creating a grand wall of protection. The Demons were clawing, screaming to get at us...but they COULDN'T! After the prayer for Kayla was over, more things were reveled to us and we took a big prayer that came from a member on the team and laid it on the Alter. In those couple of hours that we practiced and prayed, I had not felt such unity in a long time like I did then. We were not but a body of multiple souls, but we become one body with one soul, working together for Christ's Will.

After I came home that night, I was in such awe of it all. I began thanking God for what He has given me. When I asked Him for a sign team, I expected it to be wonderful and anointed but nothing like how it's gone so far! I've been completely knocked out of the water by these precious souls that God's given me. He personally handpicked some the sweetest young people that love Him very much. Words can not describe the gratitude I feel to Him and my team members. I love my team for multiple reasons, but mainly because in just the two weeks that we have been practicing, we have become not only good friends, but family as well. I see so many wonderful things coming our way. Blessings galore and new paths that will be reveled...and I get to be apart of it! Thank you Jesus for letting me do your work in such a unique and special way! You are WORTHY to be praised!

"For He shall gives His Angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways." Psalm 91:11
